Hi there! We’re Eric, Nils and Wyatt (L-R from the image above) and we’re the hosts of the 3D Printing Zone. The 3D Printing Zone was started by Nils Rasmusson in 2018 as a place to share Nils’ passion for all things 3D printing and to help others learn to 3D print more successfully, without having to go through all of the trial, error and wasted time that seems to be inherent with this hobby. The idea of producing in the real world something that was once only a digital idea is mind blowing to us still and we know that 3D printing will only continue to improve and become more popular as time goes on.

About Eric Baker
Eric is a relative new-comer to the 3D printing world, but he’s making up for lost time. With four 3D printers (and counting), he’s spending a lot of time printing, tweaking, buying filament and learning 3D design. Along with his regular job as a Worship Leader, he performs music (vocals, sax, keys & guitar) and has a video and music studio in the Atlanta, GA, area. He’s an avid woodworker, PC tech, writer, husband and father to three grown kids.
About Wyatt Taylor
Wyatt is crazy for 3D printing! Not only has it been his primary hobby for the last 3 years, but he also works as an Application Engineer for 3DGence, an industrial FDM printer manufacturer. With 3 printers at home and many more at work, he spends pretty much all his time making fun and functional things, and spreading his passion for the technology. He loves to drink coffee, rewatch Marvel movies, and hang out with his wife and two cats.
About Nils Rasmusson
Nils started 3D printing in 2016 and hasn’t looked back since. He’s owned over 25 3D printers, made many things showcased on The 3D Printing Zone and LRN2DIY Youtube channels, and even built a bulletproof Stormtrooper armored suit. He’s a total nerd for Star Wars and anything DIY related. If he isn’t making, he’s spending time with his wife and four kids.
